Protected by Strižnjak you can sail in from both sides because the depth in eastern passage is 5 meters. The next option to anchor is a few hundred meters western, in Kravljačica. It's a good thing to do when blows maestral or tramontana. The bottom is sandy, a little deeper so you will throw an anchor on 15 meters.
In Strižnja, eastern part of great Kornati cove in front of which is an island Strižnjak, I have used to come to visit restaurant Darko and I would tie in front of his house. Sometimes I would tie myself on the buoy. They are anchored on a depths of 5 to 6 meters under Strižnjak, which this Kornati cove protects from the west. If there is no space on buoys, you can always anchor somewhere else. Under the island there is depth of 5 to 12 meters, the bottom is sandy or you can anchor yourself in the northern part of the cove on 10 meters of depth.
Strižnja is famous after two of its restaurants, Darko and Quattro, in front of which we can find even 50 boats or more. That's why come before summer or in early autumn when there is calmer. On a western side of the cove, in Kravljačica there is another restaurant Andrija. You can anchor in front of it, there is also one buoy.
You can stay at the private mooring of the resaturants. You pay the berth with the food. Its not cheap but the view is fantastic.
